Senator Ted Cruz called into the Glenn Beck Radio Show today, during the last half hour. He was upbeat and said he feels privileged to have run for president and to have the support of so many grassroots movement conservatives.
Ted commented on the media's role in politics. Particularly, he spoke of the $3 million dollars of free air time that the networks gave Donald Trump, by covering the Trump rallies in an unprecedented level of live coverage.
Ted said that the decision to support Trump or any other candidate, is an issue that needs to be pondered seriously and we don't need to make that decision today. He said to watch and see what develops.
When asked if he would ever get back into the race, he said that he's not holding his breath. But he indicated that it remains a possibility, "if there's a path".
More importantly, he renewed his dedication to the conservative movement. He indicated that the movement has many fronts.
