It was just a 56-vote margin that kept the central Oklahoma district in republican hands, tonight. Steve Barnes was the Democrat seeking to claim yet another special election victory for the Democrats. But the turnout machines on both sides were very mobilized.
The voter turnout was nearly double that of the HD75 primary, held this same night.
