Trump praises Canadian healthcare
From reports by ROBERT KING • Washington ExaminerDonald Trump said in August that he ideally would want the United States to have a single-payer healthcare system such as that in Scotland or Canada, but it wouldn't work in the U.S. because of state borders.

"I want to see a private system without the artificial lines with every state," Trump said during the Fox News GOP primary debate. "If I am negotiating in New York or California I have one bidder."

Trump then pivoted to a broad attack on his nine counterparts in the August debate and politicians in general."The insurance companies are making a fortune because they have control of the politicians," said the businessman, who is currently leading in the polls for the GOP nomination.Read more at Washington Examiner
Trump's principal rival, Senator Ted Cruz, said he would push to completely repeal the mandates of Obamacare, and let each state resume their own paths to managing the needs of their own people. [ according to reports in Politico ]
