OKGOP Calls For Special Session, Ban On Selective Abortion

  Over the last few weeks we have been exposed to the evil of Planned Parenthood. Through hidden cameras and special investigations, those willing to stand on the side of life have uncovered unspeakable acts.

  The Republican Party lists in their platform that all life should be protected, because life is created by a Sovereign God. The Democrats, on the other side, stooped so low as to take out even the mention of God at their National convention several years ago.

The slow fuse of destruction was lit against the family over forty years ago with the so called Roe v. Wade Supreme Court opinion. That opinion started a systematic elimination of newborn babies because they couldn't "determine when life begins."

  Fast forward to today, where over 55 million babies have been killed in the womb, under the guise of a woman's right to choose with a complete disregard to the rights of the unborn. No matter the reason, the killing an innocent life, will be judged by the very God they choose to deny.

  Our Declaration of Independence is clear. It states that “all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” If we are to be a society that believes in these fundamental principles, the principles on which this great country was founded upon, then we must protect the liberty of all, even those of whom are still within the womb.

"If there was ever a need for a special legislative session this is it!  It is time for Republicans to stand for the principles we claim to have and stop the killing of the unborn."

  I am proud to announce that Oklahoma Republicans are taking steps towards eliminating abortion. State Representative Dr. Mike Ritze has called for the practice of selling these aborted baby parts to become completely illegal in the State of Oklahoma. Senator James Lankford has introduced a bill that would strip your tax dollars from funding these atrocities. Both of these men should be commended for their steps towards preserving the life and liberty of these children. But there is more that we should do.

  As Chairman of the Oklahoma Republican Party, I call on the Governor and legislators to completely end the practice of abortion in Oklahoma. Now is the time to stand up for the principles of our Party and our Country by taking action to protect these children. Shut Planned Parenthood down immediately for their illegal actions, and prosecute the abortion doctors who violate their oath to "do no harm."

Special Session

  If there was ever a need for a special legislative session this is it! It is time for Republicans to stand for the principles we claim to have and stop the killing of the unborn. The majorities of Oklahomans will support this bold action, but it will take someone to lead the fight.
